About Me

Originally from Pacific Palisades, CA, I am now growing as a student, businessman and writer at the University of Michigan. I've learned a lot about myself through writing and my constantly-evolving writing process. Each draft and edit opens new doors, and I am excited to share my journey with you in my works below.

On campus, I'm involved with expanding a Detroit-based tech startup called JONEZIE, I'm an activist for mental health through Wolverine Support Network, and I'm an outside hitter on the men's club volleyball team. I've always been an athlete and a team player, so my favorite part about writing at Sweetland is collaborating with its community, pushing each other to bring out our best work. There is no sense of competition - only support and growth - and I touch up on more of this in Why I Write below.
